The Punjab Green E-Taxi Scheme 2025 is a flagship initiative under the Transport & Mass Transit Department to promote clean mobility and provide affordable electric taxis to both individuals and fleet owners.
With 1,100 e-taxis to be distributed in Lahore in the first phase, the scheme offers interest-free loans, subsidized equity contributions, free registration, and 5-year installment plans. Out of these, 1,000 taxis are reserved for fleet owners and 100 for individual operators (70 male, 30 female).
